Abstract

The importance of sales promotion in modern marketing has increased mainly on account of its abilityinpromoting sales and preparing the ground for future expansion. Sales promotion plays a vital role in marketing. In this research paper the effect of sales promotion on consumers of FMCG product are analyzed. There arelot of tools in sales promotion it is broadly classified into dealers, consumer and Salesforce sales promotion. Thisresearch focus on sales promotion tools attract the customer most, in which category the consumer needsalespromotion and whether the sales promotion influence brand switching. 200 samples were collected fromtheconsumers of FMCG products using structured questionnaire and the result were analyzed.
