Abstract

Water is in its natural form contains number of salts, microbes and alkalis. Due to industrialization the purity of
water critically threatened. To investigate the water quality parameters of three places near Ford (India) Factory
at the South of the Chennai City of the state of Tamil Nadu is estimated in the present study. The standard
methods of sampling and estimation is done for the ground water samples. The quality of water shows high
value of total hardness and total dissolved solids
